Day 01 : Arrive at Bagdogra Airport/NJP–Darjeeling (90 km).
Upon your arrival at New Jalpaiguri Station/Bagdogra Airport, you will be warmly greeted by our representative. From there, we will proceed to Gangtok. Upon reaching Gangtok, check in at your pre-booked hotel. (Lunch will be at the hotel or a restaurant of your choice, at your own expense). The remainder of the day is yours to rest and relax at leisure. Spend a tranquil night at your hotel in Gangtok.
Day 02 :Darjeeling Darjeeling
In the early hours of the morning, we'll depart for Tiger Hill to catch the breathtaking sunrise over Mt. Kanchendzonga. Upon returning to the hotel, we'll visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop en route. After breakfast, our next destinations include the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, PNZ Zoological Park (closed on Thursdays), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Centre (closed on Sundays), and a Tea Garden for an outer view. Following lunch back at the hotel, the remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure. Relax and unwind, concluding with a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 03 :Darjeeling - Pelling via Melli (115 km)
Following breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Pelling in West Sikkim. The journey meanders through winding roads, traversing valleys, hills, and picturesque villages, alongside the enchanting Teesta River and then the beautiful Rangit River until reaching Legship. Pause for a rejuvenating break at the viewpoint near Melli to admire the spectacular confluence of the Teesta River and Rangit River. Afterwards, resume the drive to Pelling and upon arrival, check in to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 04:Pelling
After breakfast in the morning, begin your day with a visit to the renowned Pemayangtse Monastery, a significant seat of the Nyingma Order of Tibetan Buddhism. Originally constructed as a small Lhakhang by Lhatsun Chempo in the 17th century, this monastery houses numerous antique idols, objects of worship, and intricate wall paintings and sculptures. Next, journey to the legendary Khecheopalri Lake, situated 25 kilometers away. Surrounded by dense forests, this Holy Lake is believed to possess the power to fulfill wishes. Following this, explore the majestic Kunchenjungha Falls and Rimbi Falls, two perennial waterfalls en route. Return to the hotel for lunch. Afterward, embark on a one-hour drive to Dentham Valley. Marvel at the Tsangey Falls and capture photographs of its stunning beauty. Additionally, visit the Sinsore Bridge, the highest bridge in Sikkim. Conclude your day with a return to the hotel for a peaceful overnight stay.
Day 05: Pelling–Gangtok (120 km)
After breakfast drive to Gangtok, a land of unspoiled natural beauty with alpine landscapes, thick luxuriant forests, rivers in the torrent, and peaceful lakes. On arrival, check into a hotel. For the rest of the day, you are free to explore the local area. Overnight, stay at the hotel.
Day 06:Gangtok
Following breakfast, embark on a journey to Tsongmo Lake (12,210 ft) and Baba Mandir, a scenic 40 km drive lasting approximately 2.5 hours. This pristine lake is nestled close to Nathu La Pass, known as the entry point to the historic "Silk Route," and remains frozen for a significant portion of the year. Tsongmo Lake is renowned for hosting Brahminy ducks and various migratory bird species. Adjacent to the lake lies the sacred Baba Mandir, revered for its spiritual significance. If desired, we can also arrange a visit to Nathu La Pass, marking the border between India and China. Afterward, return to Gangtok. In the evening, you're free to engage in leisure activities before retiring for the night at the hotel.
Day 07:Gangtok–Lachen (125 Km / 6 Hours Drive Approximately)
After enjoying a hearty breakfast, begin your day early by checking out from the hotel in Gangtok and heading towards Lachen. Along the way, make a stop at the Singhik View Point and Seven Sisters Waterfalls. This viewpoint offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, providing visitors with breathtaking views of Mt. Kanchenjunga and Mt. Siniolchu. The expansive green grasslands, shrubs, and apple orchards enhance the scenic beauty of the area. Afterward, continue your journey to Lachen. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel, where you can relish a delicious dinner and spend a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 08:Lachen–Gurudongmar Lake–Chopta Valley Excursion–Lachung
After enjoying an early morning breakfast, check out from your hotel in Lachen and set off for sightseeing at Gurudongmar Lake. A scenic 3-hour drive will lead you to a valley nestled at an impressive altitude of 17,000 feet. This sacred lake holds significance for Sikhs, Buddhists, and Hindus alike and ranks among the highest lakes globally. Located near the Tibet border, it is surrounded by snow-capped peaks throughout the year. Following your exploration in Lachen, continue your journey towards Lachung, an area blanketed with Rhododendron forests. Along the way, visit the enchanting Chopta Valley and Thangu Valley. Upon reaching Lachung, check in at the hotel and embark on further sightseeing. Visit the ancient Nyingma Buddhist gompa, Lachung Monastery, situated at an impressive altitude of 9,600 feet. The monastery is renowned for its annual mask dance, offering captivating sights to behold. Return to the hotel and spend a comfortable overnight stay in Lachung.
Day 09:Lachung
Following breakfast, proceed to Yumthang (11,800 ft), famously known as the Valley of Flowers. Here, the tree line gives way to vibrant rhododendron groves that blanket the landscape in a surreal hue. During winters, the area is adorned with snow, enhancing its enchanting beauty. Yumthang is also renowned for its hot springs, renowned for their healing properties. Spend the entire day amidst the splendor of this location before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay. Additionally, upon request, we can arrange an optional tour to Zero Point. Situated at an altitude of 15,300 feet, this remote outpost marks the end of civilization. Beyond lies the Indo-China border, making it inaccessible to visitors.
Day 10:Lachung – Gangtok
Following breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your journey to Gangtok. En route, marvel at the tranquility of Bheema and Twin Waterfalls. Nestled amidst dense forests, these falls offer a serene escape from commercialization. The sheer force of the water is awe-inspiring, captivating all who behold it. After a thrilling day of exploration, arrive in Gangtok and check in at the hotel. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 11
Departure from Gangtok to Siliguri – Siliguri / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction) Begin the day with a satisfying breakfast. After breakfast, transfer to Siliguri / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction). The journey covers approximately 135 kilometers, taking approximately 4 ½ to 5 hours. Guests are advised to commence the journey early and avoid rushing for a smooth forwarding journey.
